About the Opportunity
- Maintain financial records for all group companies
- Assisting with month-end close activities as it relates to reconciliations and journal entries
- Daily cash management and monthly bank account reconciliations
- Assisting with financial statement preparation
- AR & AP day to day administration including managing aging
- Intercompany, AR and AP reconciliations
- Assisting with annual budgets
- Assisting with tax return preparation
- Record keeping and maintaining the general ledger
- Performing clerical filing
- Assisting with audit or tax requests
- Other ad hoc projects as required
About You
- 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Excellent MS Excel skills and other MS products including SharePoint and teams
- Experience in sage intact
- Private company accounting or who has worked with a family office is an asset
- Excellent organization skills
- Strong communication skills
- Works well within a team environment
- Working on accounting courses, designation
- Ability to manage deadlines
- Great attention to detail, accuracy of accounts
Salary
$50,000 - $55,000/year
