Our client is a gold,silver, and copper producer. They are looking for a Controller who will be responsible for maintaining an organized and timely financial reporting process while acting as an important business partner to the local and international finance, accounting, and administration teams.

About the Opportunity

• Manage the quarterly and monthly reporting process and ensure proper compliance with the regulatory requirements of a publicly traded company.
• Prepare the consolidated accounts for all the entities; work with the  team for the external financial consolidation of accounts under US GAAP.
• Adhere to the internal controls and compliance process, acting as management liaison with external and internal audit teams.
• Contribute effectively to business systems implementation.
• Monitor financial actions and modify accounting processes, while providing technical advice and recommending improvements for the same.
• Manage and continuously develop cash calls and other treasury activities within the company
• From time to time, provide financial support on Argentinean activities

About You

• CPA Designation
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive responsibilities in the area of accounting, finance, or business management.
• Experience in the mining industry is required.
• Hands-on public company financial reporting experience required, ideally with both US GAAP and IFRS
• Strong multicurrency experience is an asset.

Salary Range
$120,000 - $140,000/year
