Our client is a large distribution company. They are currently looking for a Controller who will be responsible for overall corporate accounting, taxation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash processing, treasury and payroll functions.

About the Opportunity 

• Establish financial controls to ensure safeguarding of corporate assets 
• Develop and mentor key finance talent; create a strong results-oriented, customer focused culture within the Finance team. 
• Work with the Finance Teams to develop management and month-end reporting in accordance with company requirements. 
• Work with the Financial Planning and Analysis Team (FP&A) to establish monthly and annual budgets and forecasts 
• Ensure all accounting practices, controls and procedures comply with Sarbanes Oxley and other regulatory reporting requirements. 
• Ensure compliance with all income and commodity tax laws, including tax filings, remittances and audits. 
• Work with business partners on key initiatives and special projects affecting finance teams. 
• ·Lead process improvement efforts to increase efficiencies and effectiveness across accounting and financial processing teams. 

About You 

• CPA  
• Min. 10 years' experience, with 4-5 years managing people and teams 
• Experience with inventory 

Salary Range 

$135,000 to $160,000/year
