Our client is a leading premium retailer, manufacturer and distributor. They are currently looking for a Controller who will provide an opportunity to support budgeting, forecasting and cash management as it relates to the consolidated business.

About the Opportunity

• Owns cash management and forecasting for the consolidated group
• Manages outflows for the consolidated group
• Develops and maintains budget controls in SAP and Concur
• Establishes cost and budget discipline throughout the organization
• Prepares Monthly Departmental Reporting, working with departments to achieve reporting that allows department heads to take ownership of their budgets
• Manages credit card levels and policy spending
• Reviews vendor contracts (recruiters, software, purchasing) and suggests favorable terms for the company
• Identifies opportunities for cost savings and works collaboratively with the various departments to achieve the savings
• Proactively identify opportunities for process and control improvement and champion’s change
• Work closely with operations to review standard costs and monitor other operating expenses to ensure they are reasonable and accurate
• Special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required
• Help prepare the financial planning process, including but not limited to budgets, forecasts, annual operating plan
• Create financial cash metrics with ongoing reporting and monitoring for efficient operational excellence
• Owns vendor disputes and resolutions
• Operate as the Finance Business Partner for all departments within the business to enhance performance and support the various leaders with sound financial advice and guidance
• Act as a central point of contact for all cash matters

About You

• CPA
• 3-5 years progressive experience, ideally gained through a combination of public accounting and industry
• Exposure to global entities and global teams, including foreign currency and intercompany transactions

Salary Range

$100,000 - $110,000/year
