Our client is a large technology company with excellent growth prospects both organically and through acquisition. They are currently looking for a Controller to support the firm’s technical accounting operations, provide analytical support, and act as the point person to the CEO.

About the Opportunity

• Research, develop, document, and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure effective control and reporting in accordance with IFRS
• Review standalone financial statements to be presented to lender and report quarterly on status of bank covenants
• Oversee a team of 6-8 team members including billing and collections, payables and cash application functions
• Review accounting memos and new customer contracts to assess IFRS 15 impact
• Plan, direct and coordinate all core accounting functions
• Review balance sheet account reconciliations prepared by the analyst team
• Plan, manage and execute the annual external audit
• Analyze financial results and prepare reports to management and the Board

About You

• CPA, CA Designation 
• IFRS 15 and Rev Rec Experience with a company that has multiple large client contracts
• Knowledge of Percentage of Completion Accounting
• Experience in Manager of FR or Senior Manager of FR roles
• Software or Technology sector experience is a strong asset

Salary Range

$110,000 - $120,000/year
