Our client is a leading manufacturing organization. This Controller position is a leadership position and is responsible for all financial reporting requirements of one major production operation. This role acts as a key business partnering in collaborating daily with the Operations General Manager and front line staff

About the Opportunity

• Act as a key internal control in the procurement process
• Conduct ad-hoc financial modeling and forecasts on scenarios for new production runs
• Manage the entire capital asset requisition process and annual planning process
• Collaborate regularly with your counterparts in Finance based in the USA
• Travel 2 to 3 times per year to the USA
• Maintain daily oversight of all opex spending and ensure it is accounted for properly in according cost centres
• Act as key manager of all internal controls both financial and non-financial for the operation
• Conduct forecasting and budget exercise both for capex and opex spends
• Provide high-level treasury reporting requirements to HQ in USA
• Ensure all variances price and volume are accounted for in each production run
• Prepare the full financial statement and management discussion and analysis reporting package monthly
• Manage inventory reporting and counting process

About You

• CPA Designation
• 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus in cost accounting and managerial experience
• Experience producing a full financial statement
• Experience with larger ERP (SAP preferred)

Salary Range

$100,000 - $110,000/year
