About the Opportunity

Provides staffing optimization services:

• Inputs all relevant employee changes into reporting and budgeting systems, ensuring accuracy and completion on a timely basis to meet HR reporting and payroll processing dates
• Maintains an in-depth knowledge of respective policies, processes and systems as they relate to employee movement, and keeps current on relevant changes in management directives
• Responds to enquiries, identifies and tracks outstanding issues, detects errors and escalates to the appropriate parties as necessary
• Provides coaching and support to hiring managers and financial managers as applicable on procedures, systems and transactions that relate to employee movement

Provides financial management services:

• Prepares actual and budget accounting entries as applicable in connection with staffing changes
• Supports the timely analysis and reporting of budget vs. actual salaries and benefits expenditures
• Supports the review and reconciliation of full-time salary accounts by position (for budget and actual) on a timely basis
• Ensures there is supporting documentation for processes surrounding staffing and budgeted salary savings transactions
• Maintains and updates full-time vacancy listing on a timely basis

Other administrative duties as assigned:

• Provides related clerical and administrative support for the Financial Planning Department as requested
• projects

About You

• Accounting Designation
• Minimum 3 years work experience
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (with a focus on data manipulation tools – Excel & Access)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to initiate, model and develop positive change
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing conditions and requirements
• Excellent interpersonal/relationship building skills
• Process improvement skills

Pay Rate

$35/hour
