Collections Analyst (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Monitor, review, reconciliation and collection of customer accounts
• Provide credit assessment data to management to assist with initial credit assessment and ongoing credit reviews to aid in setting  of credit limits
• Regular review of credit holds prior to shipment
• Communicate with Sales and Customer Service regarding customer and/or collections issues with the goal to improve DSO
• Recommend accounts for bad debt reserve, write off, or placement with collection agency
• Assist in development of credit policies and monitor that they are being followed
• AR reporting to Management and Corporate, including cash flow analysis and forecasting

About You

• College or University Business degree specializing in Accounting or Finance
• Working towards a Professional accounting designation is an asset
• 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing environment preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, possessing the ability to use spreadsheets, graphing, tables, calculations, and automation efficiently to process large quantities of data relevant to the business is an asset
• Prior experience with Accounts Receivables collections and credit review processes
• Problem solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Hard working, diligent and highly motivated with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Computer literacy: Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, Solomon and AS400 platform  a plus

Salary

$60,000 - $65,000/year
