Business Systems Analyst -WMS (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Perform application technical support primarily for warehouse management system (WMS) and shipping application, including API integrations
• Facilitate and help document business requirements for any application initiative
• Prepare technical documents (e.g., functional requirements & specs, data interface map, security requirements)
• Facilitate and prepare technical test plans (use cases, test scenarios, data sandbox)
• Perform application configuration tasks for new Clients, users and change requests
• Lead the technical activities for new Client implementations (e.g., Client order management system integration with WMS)
• Prepare and perform unit / functional, and integration testing activities
• Facilitate and monitor User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with end users from business
• Participate in the creation and/or update of SOPs and training materials
• Manage technical issues and incidents logs on a daily basis
• Develop and evolve technical templates (ex. business requirements, master data, test plan, security templates)
• Answer day to day technical questions from end users, developers, and/or vendors
• Assist preparing business cases for application initiatives (e.g., new application, application optimization)
• Participate in an environment of continuous improvement by supporting department leads in the identification of technology solutions for more effective operations
• Keep track of future trends, enhancements, and upcoming technical changes for both WMS and shipping systems
• May support infrastructure, network, and/or security activities as required

About You

• 3+ technical experience as a Systems Analyst working with any warehouse management system and shipping system. Asset if experienced with 3PL Central and/or techSHIP
• 2+ years working experience at a 3rd Party Logistics/Business to Consumer (B2C) Fulfillment company
• 2+ years E-commerce experience
• Demonstrated technical, analytical, fact-based skills and experience
• Excellent technical writing and oral communication skills using technical documents or equivalent applications
• Demonstrated experience using project methodologies such as SDLC, waterfall, and/or scrum/agile
• Demonstrated skills and experience in business and technical requirements gathering, process flows and mapping, and test plans
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment, to prioritize activities and work towards tight deadlines
• Demonstrated experience of technical/front end understanding of a WMS, Shipping System application and APIs
• Time management skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Sense of urgency and professionalism when dealing with clients, other employees, and vendors/carriers

Salary

$77,000/year
