Our client has a need for a Business Process Analyst. The successful candidate will be used during the month of September as a start (for 3 weeks), with the possibility to extend into Oct and beyond. The client has started mapping their current and future state processes in their Finance team, and now want to extend this exercise into other departments, therefore they need a resource to help with this. The Sales team will be the focus at the start of the project. For this specific engagement they would like to process map their Sales cycle. For the future state process, they tend to look for areas where they can add efficiencies, so if the successful candidate is familiar with the process they should be able to identify improvement areas (whether being a behavioral process improvement or technical improvement).

About the Opportunity

  • Business Process Mapping
  • Sit with the individual business members to get an understanding of current processes, conduct walkthroughs, and identify gaps
  • The focus will be on the sales processes as a starting point
    • Meet with the sales teams to work through current processes
    • Understand the following:
      • Process of taking a lead to securing a new member
      • Lead generation
      • Lead assigning
      • Lead followup
      • Scheduling a meeting
      • Setting the agenda
      • Meeting, what questions do you ask, what outcome are you working towards, etc
      • Post meeting followup
      • What do you do with the prospects business card
      • How do you track the lead, spreadsheet, crm?
  • Clean up and tighten processes
  • Provide clear and concise documentation
  • Sales commissions mapping will also be vital to this role
    • How are commissions tracked
    • How/when are they paid out
    • What is the sales cycle
    • How are members tracked and assigned to sales staff
    • Process identification and improvements

About You

  • University or college degree in a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Superior communication skills both written and verbal
  • Superior documentation skills and provide samples
  • Experience supporting all divisions within an organization
  • Experience working with stakeholders
