About the Opportunity

• Enter and prepare accounts payable (ie. Bank wires, EFTs, ACH payments
• Bookkeeping
• Assist with the preparation of leadsheets, financial statements, Canadian tax returns (corporate and personal), supporting schedules and working papers
• Assist with the preparation of Canadian and US tax slips
• Reconcile bank, investment and credit card accounts, and match receipts
• Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers for clients
• Enter credit card statements
• Prepare cash disbursements and make bank deposits
• Prepare spreadsheets for various uses
• Correspondence with CRA
• Maintain filing system
• Other office duties
• Prepare correspondence

About You

• Personable and willing to learn
• Knowledge of accounting
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Integrity and ability to maintain client confidentiality is a must
• Organized, reliable, and punctual
• Ability to multi task and prioritize assignments
• Knowledge of QuickBooks is an asset
• Knowledge of Intuit Profile is an asset

Salary

$40,000 -  $60,000/year
