About the Company  

Our client is a leading Canadian homebuilder, and they are looking to hire a Senior Business Analyst. 

About the Opportunity 

• The Senior Business Analyst will be working with project teams and is dedicated to enhancing business systems and functionality to all aspects of business analysis for IT projects, document management as well as supporting Finance, Accounting and Low-Rise Operational groups on operational systems such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Power BI and other Microsoft products 

• The BA will work extensively with Corporate IT, Finance, Procurement to improve reporting and collaboration within the organization 

• The organization currently warehouses a significant amount of data, and are looking to better leverage Power BI (writing scripts, extracting information from BUILD PRO (home builder scheduling and project management software) and other sources), and then sharing and syncing within the organization using SharePoint platform and Microsoft Teams channels 

• Corporate IT takes all the data from various sources, warehouses it, and funnels through Power BI to users 

About You 

• Over five years of progressive experience  

• Strong communications skills, both written and oral 

• Understanding of SharePoint, Power BI and other Microsoft Suite of programs 

• Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines 

• Ability to work with others as a team, develop strong relationships and work in cross-departmental teams, with partners, colleagues, and senior level executives 

• Strong leadership skills combined with excellent communications skill – listening, verbal, written as well as presentation skills 

• Exposure to Real Estate industry is an asset 

• Experience working with Scribe Insight integration tool 

• Adaptable to flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines 

Salary Range 

$105,000/year
