Business Analyst (Closed)

About the Company 

Our client is a growing successful private family-owned company of 300 staff, and they are looking to hire a Business Analyst (ERP).  

About the Opportunity 

• The company has been growing for a long time but still has their ERP from 20 years ago (combination of Navision and Excel), they have finally planned a large ERP migration to Dynamics D365 Finance/Operations 

• We are looking for a business analyst who has strong experience in participating in ERP migrations/implementations 

• D365 experience is a bonus but not required 

• The role will gather requirements from the business, documenting user stories and process (as is, to be, etc), participate in UAT, etc 

• We are looking for someone with great attention to detail, someone who is able to communicate effectively with people at various seniority and technical levels, work with vendors, etc 

• This person needs to have functional understanding of various ERP modules (eg Accounting/Finance processes) to be able to understand what the business needs/processes are 

• Experience with actual ERP implementation projects is required 

• Any exposure to logistics industry/processes is a bonus 

About You 

• Experience participating in ERP implementations 

• Understanding of Accounting processes (eg AP/AR/GL/etc) 

• Experience gathering and documenting technical requirements, functional processes, user stories, use cases, UAT, etc for ERP implementation projects 

• Excellent communication skills 

• Able to commute to Mississauga HQ 4 times per week 

• Logistics industry experience is a bonus 

• Project coordination/management exposure is a plus 

• D365 Finance/Operations implementation experience is preferred 

Salary Range 

$95,000-105,000/year
