Bookkeeper - 6-Month Contract

About the Opportunity

  • Prepare Weekly payroll
  • Complete WSIB schedule Monthly
  • Run reports for Garnishees, COPE staff dues, Rep and Property Management dues
  • Prepare Employment letters
  • Prepare & submit ROEs As required
  • Record incoming vacation, sick & personal days inemployee ledgers
  • Scan vacation/sick/personal days into personnel files once recorded, scan weekly timesheets, pay deductions etc. Into personnel files
  • Summarize visa expenses and Business Reps’ expenses
  • Complete T4 schedule & process T4s in software
  • Enter invoices to be paid using accounting software
  • Attach cheques to invoices, mail once signed Bi-weekly
  • Assist with counting of money received from Business
  • Prepare quarterly cost sharing invoices
  • Photocopy monthly electronic payments Monthly
  • Process expense reports  

About You

  • Minimum 3-5 years of accounting or invoicing experience, dealing with high volume.
  • Intermediate excel skills (with vlookup, pivot table skills desirable)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
