Billing Specialist (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Create invoices and billing materials to be sent directly to customers on a timely manner
• Ensure all freight charges are added before final invoicing
• Rebills of invoices when necessary
• Create manual invoices and credit notes
• Follow up on customers and internal requests
• Other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time

About You

• At least three years of billing experience in trucking/logistic industry.
• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Proven experience as Billing Specialist
• Adherence to the best practices in regards to dealing with customers and data
• Good keyboarding/data entry skills
• Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information
• Good working knowledge in MS Office (particularly Excel and Word) and Outlook
• High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Competency to work independently and as part of a team
• Goal oriented

Salary

$60,000/year
