Billing Specialist - 12 Month Contract (Closed)

About The Opportunity 

• Work closely with Business Development and India Shared Services teams to enter contract details into Oracle; issue all credit ratings invoices/refunds to clients; and assist with any cash collection related questions. 
• Interact professionally with clients to obtain necessary information required for invoice processing 
• Timely respond to customer inquiries regarding billing or request for invoices 
• Perform certain reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy of billings for each period 
• Update and maintain unbilled revenue schedule for month end accruals 
• Perform some monthly accruals and journal entries; perform some account reconciliations 
• Assist in quarterly and year-end audit procedures, including audit requests (external and tax related) 
• Continuously update (when necessary) standard operating procedures relating to the credit rating quote to cash process 
• Other duties as assigned 

About You 

• College diploma or University degree in Finance/Accounting an asset 
• 3+ years of billing experience in a large global company 
• Understanding basic principles of accounting 
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and manipulating and analyzing large volumes of data 
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate positive working relationships 
• Ability to communicate clearly, to work both independently and in a team-environment, and assume additional responsibilities over time 
• Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities and deadlines, with attention to details 
• Effectively handle change and problem solve when faced with ambiguity 
• Experience with SalesForce.com, Blackline, Tableau, and Oracle’s Contracts, Accounts Receivable and Cash Management modules is a plus 

Pay Rate 

Up to $28/hour
