Billing and Operations Analyst (Closed)

About the Opportunity

Working as part of a larger team for a high-profile offering to our clients, the Billing and Operations Analyst ensures all reporting and processing of payments for our clients. Working remotely or in office as part of a larger team, you will report to the Finance Project Lead and VP Finance to ensure crucial customer utility transactions are processed in a timely and accurate fashion.

• Manage and report on funding requests, expense accruals and bank reconciliation for clients
• Perform report reconciliations and ensure accuracy/completeness of records, resolve data deficiencies and irregularities with internal partners and consistently adhere to and following standard procedures.
• Customer relationship management with utilities and clients
• Process payments on behalf of clients on a timely basis and ensure proper recording of transactions
• Support for data entry and work with data entry team to review/manage utility bills data on balance forwards, credit adjustments, late fees and review of data and reports
• Assist with client onboarding activities, including set up of accounts and banking/payments
• Work on special projects as required
• Streamline and create controls surrounding the areas of responsibilities
• Maintain accountability and highest quality standards on tasks assigned

About You

• Post-secondary degree (business, Economics, accounting, finance or equivalent preferred)
• Computer literacy: MS Office/Excel
• Priority management skills to meet service levels and complete daily tasks on time
• Ability to work in a team setting environment
• Great attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to work independently
• Excellent interpersonal, administrative, organizational, analytical, time management, research, vendor relations, problem-solving, and records management skills
• Ability to communicate financial and accounting related information in ways that are understood by all within daily interactions
• Service delivery oriented work and/or billing/invoicing processing experience(s) are considered as assets

Salary

$46,000 - $50,000/year
