Our client is a professional services firm, providing outsourced CFO/ Controllership and advisory services to international companies across various industries. They are looking for a Bilingual Accounting Manager (Mandarin) to join their finance team.

About the Opportunity

• Compiling financial statements, preparing year-end adjusting entries with a knowledge base of ASPE, IFRS, and the U.S. GAAP
• Reviewing and preparing Canadian and U.S. income tax returns
• Researching into various Canadian and U.S. tax issues/questions
• Preparing e-mails and other client correspondences, including but not limited to: memorandums, technical summaries, and participating in conference calls with clients
• Conducting phone calls with regulatory agencies (CRA, IRS, etc.)
• Responding to requests and notices from regulatory authorities
• Assuming project ownership by following a project from beginning to end with guidance from the Principal and managing client relations
• Coaching junior staff members in the firm
• Other tasks that may be required on a daily basis

About You

• CPA or In-Progress
• Minimum 2-3 year's experience in a public accounting firm/ or in industry
• Mandarin speaking is a requirement
• Canadian and/or US personal and corporate tax is an asset.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, QuickBooks, Profile, and some tax and other law research software

Salary Range

$100,000 - $150,000/year
