About the Opportunity

  • Play a key role in the research, design, development and delivery of Business Intelligence solutions
  • Play a role in helping to transform complex information into easy-to-understand formats
  • Work with stakeholders in support of key business processes and decision making
  • Ensure report design best practices, coding standards, and adherence to the system development life cycle are following industry best practices
  • Support and enhance BI reporting and dashboards solutions that provide key business performance
  • Research, and advise on actionable insights to support core business processes
  • Proactively meet with business stakeholders on a regular basis to identify opportunities for automation, integration and enhanced reporting
  • Bring a strong financial acumen to the team specifically with understanding financial models, financial reporting, ERP systems, subledgers, general ledger, chart of accounts, etc.
  • Experience with building financial dashboards
  • Assist stakeholders with identifying business issues and opportunities; develop business solutions and requirements to address key strategic and business goals
  • Work with the team on optimizing complex measures
  • Create data visualization and dashboards that present data in easy-to-understand formats that can be easily customized
  • Experience with predictive models
  • Candidates with experience or knowledge of Snowflake, Azure, Python / R, VBA, MS Flow and ETL tools such as Knime, Alteryx and Talend will take precedence

 

About You

  • University degree and/or a combination of equivalent training, education and experience
  • 6+ plus years working with big data and BI tools including PowerBI, SSAS, Azure Analysis Services, SQL, Excel, etc.
  • Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, data mining, data QA, and ETL
  • Experience with structured and unstructured data from a wide range of systems and sources mainly with a focus on financial data
  • Excellent knowledge of project management, agile methodology and system/application/ERP development life cycle
  • Experience with risk and controls in a Finance and Accounting environment
  • Ability to look across the organization to link and identify opportunities to align and streamline business process, organization, information and technology
  • Have a proactive approach to look at issues from a business perspective to develop reports and analysis to meet business stakeholders needs
  • Ability to plan, organize and monitor work effectively
  • Very strong attention to detail, accuracy, and delivery
  • Strong ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • You must have a high level of initiative, innovative and professionalism
  • You must bring a passion and enthusiasm for success
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
