The Audit Security Analyst is the owner of the application security initiatives for various LOBs throughout the enterprise. Performs process analysis, understands internal controls, facilitates solution discussions and decision making; and works closely with Internal Controls, Internal Audit and IT Support teams.
About the Opportunity
- Acts as a lead resource in functional controls / information security for project teams, the business/ organization and/or outside vendors
- Implementation and management of internal controls with respect to financial reporting policies, processes and procedures
- Apply a teamwork philosophy with IT, Internal Controls and Audit teams to integrate all technology security components and address control gaps
- Develop, maintain and coordinate Global internal control policies providing guidance and support for internal control issues
- Provide support to business and translate requirements as per IT needs
- Required to do role definitions mapping roles to access privileges, challenge exceptions and advocate best practices and standards
- Takes ownership to security compliance initiatives, projects and incidences
- Influence behavior to mitigate risk, foster a strong risk management culture
- Experience overseeing internal control audits
- Assesses current risk and identifies weaknesses
- Assess, identify and escalate issues appropriately
- Other related duties and required or assigned
About You
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
- 4+ years of professional accounting experience
- 6+ years of ERP experience
- Strong technical internal controls compliance skills
- Experience working in companies owned by private equity firms or publicly traded companies
- Good understanding of SOX compliance requirements and internal controls
- Effective communication skills within multiple levels of a global matrix organization
- Strong analytical skills
- Support business transformation by implementing and enhancing mission critical system
- Understand operational processes, ask probing questions, challenge the status-quo and identify areas for automation
- Understand current state and elicit future state in workshops and one-to-one setting
- Identify and understand problems, evaluate solution options and facilitate decision making process
- Work within a global organization and understanding the challenges that are presented by multiple languages, currencies and cultures
- Sound Microsoft office knowledge
Salary Range
$75,000 - $85,000/year
