Senior Associate, Fund Services (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Responsible for the accounting and administration of a portfolio of Private Equity and Closed Ended Funds
• Review and provide guidance to junior fund accountants
• Record all accounting transactions and prepare periodic work papers, management accounts, and financial statements including Bank account reconciliations
• Perform follow-up with client on accounting documentation, as necessary
• Respond to client queries
• Handle client payments and receipts
• Coordinate annual audits
• Draft annual financial statements and their related IFRS/US GAAP disclosures
• Monitor and adhere to Regulatory deadlines for corporate and tax filings
• Assist on client service matters, maintaining and building client relationships
• Undertake general administration and other projects as assigned

About You

• University Degree in Accounting or relevant field
• 1-2+ years of accounting/audit experience
• CPA Candidate
• Detail-oriented with ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast pace environment
• Team player with good attitude and approachable personality
• Ability to multitask and is meticulous, inquisitive, and self-motivated
• Strong time management skills in meeting client deadlines
• Proficient accounting knowledge in IFRS and US GAAP
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Salary

$60,000 - $65,000/year
