They are currently looking for an Associate Director Financial Business Planning who will provide leadership to a team of financial professionals in Financial Business Planning to ensure best practice systems, methods, and processes are in place to oversee financial assets and liabilities, develop business plans and assist the organization in making decisions in the pursuit of its strategic goals.

About the Opportunity

• Lead a group of talented Finance Managers in the preparation of the annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes using Workday Adaptive, including development of Annual Operating Plans, 3-5 Year Strategic Plans, through coordination with Business Units to ensure critical initiatives are accurately reflected and aligned with organizational performance goals
• Provide education and leadership to ensure clients recognize the need for, and develop the necessary skills to: budget, plan, assess risk and financial impacts of business activities
• Analyzes and interprets key aviation activity forecasts with a keen understanding as to how these activities drive financial Manages information systems with responsibility for generating insightful and relevant financial reports, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data
• Coaches, mentors and develops individuals and teams to rise to their full potential while providing timely, constructive and consistent feedback and personal development opportunities
• Inspires and empowers others to achieve results which exceed expectations and support the shared objective of the organization as a whole
• Responsible for being a customer centric Leader with respect to the Mission, Vision, Values and Beliefs performance within the Business Unit(s)
• Develops, creates and maintains financial models and KPI’s to support business planning processes while at the same time providing relevant and insightful recommendations leading to sound balanced decision making.
• Support the Treasurer and CFO in meeting needs and expectations of the Board of Directors, Audit Committee, CEO and Executive Team
• Understand operating and capital needs of the organization in supporting financing and rating agency activity driven by the Associate Director, Treasury
• Prepares and performs financial performance analysis and benchmarking, creates reports and presentations to explain variances and suggests corrective actions needed to meet strategic objectives
• Participate as a subject matter expert in special projects and take ownership of ad-had analysis as required
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives including further development of the Workday Adaptive planning platform and related systems

About You

• CPA Designated
• 8+ years in accounting/finance function and 5+ years of people management experience
• Familiarity with Financial ERP reporting systems such as Oracle, Workday Adaptive and fully proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products
• Very strong Excel skills, specific focus around modelling income statements and related drivers

Salary Range

$140,000 - $150,000/year
