About the Opportunity 
Audit Planning & Execution

• Execute audits which include conducting interviews and reviewing supporting documentation with a focus on Technology and Data related elements of the audits.
• Identify risks and controls, conclude on the effectiveness of controls, and determines how the effectiveness of the internal controls affects achievement of CPP Investments objectives and compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and external regulations.
• Develop scripts and execute script-based testing (e.g., application controls, key reports, data conversion, etc.).
• Testing of IT general controls (network, operating systems, application, database(s), and user developed applications).
• Leverage data analytics tools and scripts (e.g., Tableau, Python, etc.) to perform control testing and/or identify insights on engagements.
• Document the testing in working papers to support the work performed
• Present and discuss audit findings and recommendations to the engagement lead and relevant parties during the audit.
• Develop and maintain open lines of communication with management and other key stakeholders (e.g., external auditors), by working collaboratively and constructively.
• Support the production of informative, concise and value adding engagement reports and/or management letters, as well as reports to the Audit Committee.

Relationship Building

• Collaborate with engagement team members to effectively execute assurance and advisory activities as required.
• Foster and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders on assigned engagements

About You 

• Undergraduate degree required in accounting/Business Administration, Finance Information Technology and Data related field or equivalent experience.
• Relevant professional designations are strongly preferred (e.g., CPA, CISA, CIA).
• Data Analytics or other programming related certifications are preferred (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Python, etc.). 

Salary Range 
$95,000 - $100,000/year
