Our client is a rapidly growing business in the realm of asset management who offers a complete range of accounting, middle office, tax, investor relations, and corporate services. They are looking to add an Assistant Manager to their Fund Services group.

About the Opportunity
- Accounting and administration of a portfolio of Private Equity and Closed Ended Funds
- Review and provide guidance to junior fund accountants
- Record all accounting transactions and prepare periodic work papers, management accounts and financial statements including Bank account reconciliation
- Perform follow-up with client as necessary on accounting documentation
- Respond to client queries
- Handle client payments and receipts
- Coordinate annual audits
- Draft annual financial statements and their related IFRS/US GAAP disclosures
- Monitor/adhere to Regulatory deadlines for corporate and tax filings
- Assist on client service matters, maintaining and building client relationships
About You
- CPA, ACCA are strong assets
- 3+ years experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting
- System experience ie. Investran
- Leadership experience with oversight or review of junior staff
- Detail oriented able to work with minimum supervision in a fast pace environment
- Competent accounting knowledge in IFRS and/or US GAAP is asset
Salary Range
$80,000 - $85,000/year
