Our client is in the Engineering industry. They are looking for an Assistant Controller to support the Controller with the overall Accounting function.

About the Opportunity 

• Month end close including GL stewardship (BS and P&L) 

• Prepare and review journal entries and assist team with troubleshooting 

• Ensure accuracy in financial data and reporting, and compliance with Finance 

• Prepare and review accruals and provisions for completeness and accuracy 

• Assist the Controller to coordinate the preparation of the annual budget, monthly updates, and quarterly forecast 

• Prepare actual vs budget, actual vs forecast and actual vs prior year analysis 

• Manage and coordinate internal and external audits, compliance scorecard (internal compliance testing) 

• Assist Controller with Month End variance review and analysis 

About You 

• CPA 

• 2-3 years of related industry experience  

• Hybrid experience of accounting and financial statement preparation 

Salary Range 

$115K - $130K
