Assistant Controller

About the Company 

Our client is a professional services company. They are looking for an Assistant Controller who will be responsible for helping to make business critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and correcting the Company's finances.  In addition, you will be responsible for conducting financial audits, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring financial records are accurate.

About the Opportunity 

• Analyze financial statements, investigate, and correct any errors or inconsistencies 
• Conduct ad-hoc projects including analyzing large volumes of data and communicating findings 
• Apply your expertise and critical thinking to identify processes that could impact financial performance 
• Prepare and analyze journal entries, financial reports, balance sheets and audit schedules 
• Monitor compliance based on generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures 

About You 

• CPA (or working towards 
• 3+ years in a finance or accounting 
• Advanced Excel skills  
• Strong Full Cycle Accounting background 

Salary Range 

$85,000 - $90,000/year
