AR Manager

About the Opportunity
Accounts Receivable:

• Monitor, reconcile and review all AR related subledgers taking action to resolve issues and minimize risk as they occur. Create, monitor and leverage KPIs in order to identify and rectify issues impacting service levels and collections. Provide financial and non-financial analyses as required by finance leadership team. Other duties as required

Support internal and external customers:

• Support operations on all escalated matters in a timely and professional manner. Provide recommendations and work with operations to implement upstream processes improvements impacting AR. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key external and internal parties

Team Management:

• Manage team of AR associates while providing continuous performance feedback, training and coaching to team. Conduct regular performance reviews and create individualized development plans. Allocate resources to support core deliverables and new tasks or projects. Create and implement cross training and job rotation plan for all significant functions within the team. Recruit and train new staff as required

Continuous improvement :

• Identify areas of improvement, propose and implement new or modified procedures and processes once approved. Lead AR system testing and documentation as required. Design and maintain excel models that will reduce the risk of errors as well as produce results in the most efficient manner

About You

• Completion of college diploma or equivalent with specialization in Accounting/Finance
• At least 5 years’ experience within a high volume consumer environment
• At least 3 years’ experience leading team
• Strong communication skills required
• A solid working knowledge of MS Office including intermediate Excel (eg V-Lookup, Pivot and Functions) is required
• Technologically savvy to be able to handle software issues with technical team

Salary
$85,000/year
