Application Support Analyst

About the Company   

Our client is a is a North American courier services company looking to hire an Application Support Analyst 

About the Opportunity 

• They use to support their manifest applications and hence they were called as MSS – IT team 

• Loomis express and Canpar is merged together and are kept distinct as the platforms are different and the same team supports both the entity with multiple applications 

• 3 bilingual (2 in Quebec and 1 in Brampton) and the other 6 are based in Brampton 

• This person will be working closely and supporting the bilingual Sr. Application support analyst 

• For the past 3 yrs they are deploying various systems and once they have the DSL connection, they will connect remotely to finish the set up and troubleshooting 

• This person will also get an opportunity in helping imaging, getting system ready and assisting on phone as they provide support nationwide with web apps, software and Voo commerce 

• Currently they are rolling out 52 new systems at various locations 

• Clients who have restricted Proxy those are the ones need to be visited once / twice a month 

• Ford Motors is an example 

• Need to understand different folders, understand computer lingo, should not be timid 

About You 

• Good communication skills – open for accented people 

• Need their own car – mileage reimbursed. 

• Degree/Diploma in network/computer science 

• Nice to Haves: 

• Work experience with any ticketing system 

Salary Range 

$53,000/year
