AP/AR Analyst, Contract (Closed)

About The Opportunity  

Accounts Receivable   

• Accounts receivable include generating invoices, entering receipts, issuing monthly account statements, and managing collections 
• Processing Vendor rebate invoicing   
• Produce monthly aged receivables report and other reporting as required
• Prepare bank deposits via bank scanner but, may include cheques & cash deposits at the bank  
• Entry of accounting transactions into electronic funds transfer (EFT) and accounting systems  

Accounts Payable 

• Verify, attain approval signatures based on company SOP’s, and issue payments to Suppliers, Licensees etc  
• Validate and process employee expense reports
• Maintain departmental filing and record keeping systems
• Processing quarterly vendor rebates payments to the shops  

Other Accounting Functions  

• Assist with month end/quarter end and year end closing procedures.  
• Prepare standard and recurring quarterly Journal Entries  
• Bank reconciliations and other Balance Sheet Accounts  
• Other projects and responsibilities as assigned

About You  

• Post-secondary education in accounting  
• Previous accounting experience considered an asset
• Proficiency with MS Office programs, accounting systems (Sage-considered an asset) and an ability to learn other applications quickly 
• Bilingual in English and French an asset 

Pay Rate 
$25/hour
