AP Analyst - 3 Month Contract (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Match and process high volumes of vendor invoices against automatically-generated Purchase Orders
• Process manual adjustments related to PO-based invoices
• Process manual non-PO based vendor invoices
• Respond to inquiries relating to vendor invoices from internal departments and/or vendors
• Support the weekly payments runs
• Upload journal entries and accruals received from financial analysts
• Processing/coding of invoices distributed across multiple cost centers
• Log incoming customer cheques for deposit
• Support the interim and year-end financial statement audit process
• Document processes and procedures and identify continuous improvement opportunities
• Other duties as required

About You

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant Accounts Payable experience
• Good analytical skills, highly organized, self-directed, and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ability to work with a team
• Ability to learn quickly and identify process efficiency improvements
• Experience with SAP (FI-AP, MIRO transaction), or other similar ERP systems
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular MS Excel
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to be a team player, work effectively in an open environment and interact with various functional groups
• Positive attitude and ability to adapt to change
• Post-secondary education (preferably Business/Accounting) and relevant prior work experience

Pay Rate

$20 - $23/hour
