Accounts Receivable Clerk (Closed)

About the Company

Our client is a well-established organization in the building industry. They are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to be responsible for full cycle Accounts Receivable, collections, billings and cash applications.

About the Opportunity

• Create customer profiles in QuickBooks and/or payment processor
• Generate monthly invoices using memorized recurring transactions
• Ensure distribution of monthly invoices via mail or email in timely manner
• Issue and distribute account Statements when required
• Reconcile customer accounts to ensure accuracy of billing
• Record and apply customer payments including online payments, e-transfers, cheques
• Maintain current receivables – Collection calls/correspondence on delinquent accounts or NSF payments
• Maintain call centre database – add new customers, suspend/reinstate service on delinquent accounts
• Calculate and invoice buyout values as requested

About You

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable
• QuickBooks experience is a huge asset
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications – Outlook, Word, Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively – verbal and written

Salary

$50,000/year
