Accounts Payable Specialist - 3 Month Contract

About The Opportunity 

  • Matching contracts or purchase orders with vendor/supplier invoices 
  • Coding and data entry of invoices for payments 
  • Process vendor/supplier invoices 
  • Ensuring that payments to vendors are as per agreed terms 
  • Assist with month end journal entries 
  • Highlight potential opportunities for automation or process improvement 
  • Support the team with any ad hoc accounting tasks 

About You 

  • Degree in accounting or a related field 
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, data entry, and/or finance 
  • Detail oriented 
  • Works best in a team oriented and collaborative culture 
  • Strong Excel skills 
  • Positive attitude and motivated 
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills 

Pay Rate 

$21 - $23/hour
