Accounts Payable Clerk - 3 Month Contract to Permanent (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Audit employee expenses for accuracy in Concur
• Process expenses in Great Plains
• Process weekly employee expense payments
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding employee expenses
• Review vendor invoices for appropriate approval and coding
• Enter PO and non-PO vendor invoices into Great Plains
• Process weekly/monthly cheque run (cheques, EFT and on-line payments)
• Reconciliation of vendor statements
• Processing of manual payments
• Respond to both internal and external queries regarding payment status
• Provide backup to Billing team
• Set up new vendors
• Updating vendor information
• Maintaining vendor files
• Processing of Intercompany invoices in GP
• Providing backup to Billing team for intercompany billings
• Processing of intercompany payments

About You

• 3+ years Accounts Payable experience
• Thorough understanding of Canadian Tax
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of GP and Concur an asset
• Experience working with multiple entities
• Thorough understanding of taxes (GST, HST, QST)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Understanding of project based accounting

Pay Rate

$19 - $21/hour
