Accounts Payable Analyst - 3 Month Contract (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Role focuses primarily on the processing and monitoring payments and expenditures
• Ensuring vendors and suppliers are paid on a timely basis according to established guidelines
• Full cycle invoice and payment processing – on demand cheques and weekly cheque runs
• Setup new vendors and maintain vendor files
• Process employee expense reports and credit card payments
• Assist with vendor/employee inquiries

About You

• 3-5 years of accounts payable experience
• Accounting or Finance or equivalent degree/diploma is an asset
• Industry experience in financial services, asset management and/or accounting firms is preferred
• Intermediate to Advanced level Microsoft Excel Skills
• Experience working with Investran accounting system and Sage 300 would be considered an asset
• Strong analytical skills and superior attention to detail
• Demonstrates professionalism and integrity
• Extremely organized and process-oriented, with an ability to handle a variety of tasks, work under pressure and while adhering to strict deadlines
• Positive and proactive approach to problem solving
• A team player with strong interpersonal and relationship skills

Pay Rate

$20 - $24/hour
