Accounting Specialist, Rebate (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Complete billing process to vendors
• Review and process daily incoming vendor bank deposits
• Compile and draft weekly rebate payouts to franchisees
• Generate payment notifications for rebate payouts
• Maintain vendor rebate dashboard app
• Monitor inventory sales email inbox
• Maintain internal templates from distributors
• Other duties as assigned

About You

• Post-Secondary degree (University/College) in an accounting or business program
• Minimum 5 years previous Accounts Payable and Receivable experience
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent time management and teamwork skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced level in Excel  Vlookup/Pivot Table
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently; self-motived and proactive
• Ability to work with tight deadlines
• Comfortable working overtime where necessary
• Work as a team with various colleagues and departments
• Knowledge of Sage 500 an asset

Salary

$50,000 - $60,000/year
