Accounting Specialist - 6 Month Contract

About the Opportunity

  • Providing administrative and accounting assistance for the Director of Finance
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and journal entries
  • Preparing monthly account reconciliations and tracking reports for various balance sheet, revenue and expense accounts
  • Preparing quarterly and ad/hoc budget/spending reports
  • Preparing reports and working papers for the annual audit process
  • Providing back-up support for accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Assisting in the implementation of a new financial system and maintaining the ongoing functionality

About You

  • 2-5 years of full cycle accounting experience
  • Experience assisting with month/year end, bank reconciliations and financial statements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong Excel experience
  • Blackbaud software is an asset
  • CPA enrolled is an asset

Pay Rate

$30 - $32/hour
