About the Opportunity
- Preparation of the monthly financials, including supporting journal entries
- Preparation of semi-monthly payroll
- Daily cash flow review
- Prepare bank reconciliations and related journal entries
- Update accounting books and records
- Weekly payment preparation, ensuring appropriate approval of department expenses
- Preparation of the accounts receivable and accounts payable sub-ledgers
- Review customer billing details for accuracy
- Ensure proper authorization of expenses, and coordinate proper sign-off for all payments
- Prepare vendor payments, including cheques, wire transfers and EFTs
- Summarize credit card payments, including review of supporting documents
- File and maintain all documents
- Perform other duties as assigned
About You
- At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience, processing full cycle accounting
- Proficient with Excel and QuickBooks
- Previous work experience in a small to mid size company
- Ability to work independently
- Good analytical skills and detail oriented
Salary
$70,000 - $75,000/year
