They are looking for an Accounting Manager. This critical position will consist of both advanced accounting functions and team management. You’ll be a technical expert for our accounting team.

About the Opportunity

• Establish and maintain accounting best practices to ensure smooth business operations
• Establish and maintain cash controls, the general ledger, and supplier accounts
• Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance of the departments
• Review and monitor compliance with all accounting and financial internal controls
• Responsible for sales, pricing, margins costing, decisions
• Assist with an annual budget, that drives improved decision making
• Conduct quarterly commission reviews
• Manage & oversee inventory system software
• Direct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements
• Oversee direct reports including accounts receivable, accounts payable and accounting administrator
• Monitor amortization of assets

About You

• CPA/CGM designation (or working towards your designation)
• 5–7 years’ experience in a progressive accounting role that includes 2-5 years of that management component in Canada
• Proficiency with QuickBooks or other accounting software programs (QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop)
• Proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite

Salary Range

$100,000 - $110,000/year
