Our client is manufactures HVAC, industrial and rubber hose products. They are looking for an Accounting Manager who will be responsible for inventory management, production management, full cycle accounting, quarterly financials out to the banks, GL, and supporting the accounting.

About the Opportunity

• Plan and manage all day-to-day accounting operations (including journal entries, account and bank reconciliations AR/AP, Payroll and government remittances, and union dues, EHT and workers compensation remittances). This includes supervising and providing support to the general accountant ensuring her responsibilities are performed accurately and timely
• Coordinate the annual audit process through the preparation and compilation of the working papers and financial statements for the external auditors
• Reconcile quarterly the interdivisional and intercompany general ledger balances
• Learn the Visual Manufacturing (ERP) general ledger system and its subcomponents.
• Post and review all AR and AP transactions.
• Review manufacturing transactions posted to the GL monthly.
• Generate and review required monthly financial statements for both individual entities and combined/consolidated financial statement using Microsoft Excel. Generate, print and reconcile commission reports to the GL for payment by the payroll administrator
• Begin supporting the CFO with inventory control analysis and implement procedures to assist with monitoring of inventory levels throughout the organization
• Analyze inventory for accuracy of both quantity and valuation. Provide leadership to plant stakeholders ensuring accurate inventory valuations

About You

• CPA
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate/expert knowledge in Excel
• Full cycle accounting experience

Salary Range

$95,000 - $110,000/year
