Accounting Analyst - 7 Month Contract (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Process cash and security transfers in a timely manner per contractual agreements with the borrower/transfer agent
• Perform best practices to safeguard the organization to any potential liabilities when such debt and equity transactions take place
• Correctly allocate investment income to the proper portfolio/borrower account
• Track payment schedules and ensure money is received per schedule
• Current project will include reviewing and approving data to move into a new accounting platform

About You

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in Banking with emphasis on cash management (experience in a Banking organization would be an asset)
• Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to quickly adapt strategies and processes to changing conditions
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (for video conferencing)
• Strong computer skills, with ability to learn and easily adapt to new applications
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Understanding of custodial banking systems (DTC, CIBC Mellon, State Street Bank, etc.)
• High attention to detail

Pay Rate

$25 - $30/hour
