About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Manager of Corporate Initiatives, the Accounting Administrator, Family Office will be primarily responsible for the day-to-day treasury functions, the administration of family office transactions, as well as assisting the Manager of Corporate Initiatives on projects

  • Oversee all areas of cash management for the corporate and property accounts
  • Co-ordinate various global electronic payments utilizing internal, internet-based, and bank platforms
  • Manage the company’s bank accounts, signatories, and bank related documentation
  • Maintain vendor banking profiles and user/approver information on banking platforms
  • Monitor cash balances for specific accounts to ensure sufficient funds for payments
  • Update monthly treasury spreadsheets and prepare monthly cash reports for senior members
  • Responsible for monthly bank fee review
  • Manage the bookkeeping functions for several family office entities using both QuickBooks and MS Excel
  • Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions
  • Track and coordinate all formal papering of business transactions with external lawyer
  • Collaborate with external foreign accounting contacts to ensure business compliance requirements are met
  • Assist with collection of supporting documents for the annual filing of family office tax returns and liaise with external local accountant as necessary
  • Assist with set up and administration of family office services
  • Participate in annual entity reporting, filing, and terminations where required
  • Ad hoc projects as required

  • Bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

Salary

$55,000 - $57,000/year
