About the Opportunity
- Assist with the month-end close process, including recording daily transactions, preparing journal entries, accrual entries, bank reconciliations and various General Ledger account analysis
- Monitor expenses and revenues and provide monthly documented reports on variances to senior management
- Assist with year-end audit and prepare audit working papers and assisting with quarter/year-end close
- Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare standard reporting package for senior management
- Assist with process improvements
- Responsible for assisting with a number of ad-hoc projects
About You
- CPA designation
- Excellent knowledge of full-cycle accounting
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and Great Plains
- 4 years+ experience within a corporate accounting position (including general ledger, payable and complete financial statement preparation) experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong business acumen
- Strong organizational skill, time management and ability to handle various projects and prioritize effectively
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary
Pay Rate
$32/hour
