About the Company

Our client is a leading organization in the real estate industry. They are looking for an Accountant who will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s accounting functions.

About the Opportunity

• Maintain constructive relationships with joint venture partners and vendors
• Work with the U.S. operations office to process all invoices received
• Analyze, code, and input operating and capital billings when required
• Vet site coding and post Accounts Payable invoices after site management approval process complete
• Prepare payables listing for payment authorization
• Reconcile vendor statements and clear outstanding issues
• Monitor receivable accounts and oversee collection efforts
• Prepare monthly journal entries, financial statements, reconciliations and variance analysis
• Analyze revenue, expenditures, receivables and prepare correcting entries where required

About You

• 3 - 5 years accounting experience in full cycle accounting; oil and gas industry experience is a huge asset
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• CPA in progress will be an asset

Salary

$65,000 - $70,000/year
