About the Company

Our client is a global provider of closed loop card technologies that help to increase customer acquisition and retention. They are looking for an Accountant with a solid foundation of accounting principles to grow with the organization.

About the Opportunity

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department which includes billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, journal entries and bank reconciliations
• Perform business-to-business collection calls on past due accounts
• Process semi-monthly cheque run
• Generate invoices, cheques and run reports in QuickBooks as required
• Handle vendor and client calls proactively
• File accounting records away in alphabetical order and keep filing cabinets organized
• Report to the Controller on all aspects of accounting
• Ability to build strong working relationship with internal and external clients

About You

• 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience
• Previous bookkeeping, collections and accounts payable experience
• Proven working knowledge of QuickBooks
• Experienced in MS Office products
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Salary

$50,000 - $60,000/year
