Account Payable Representative (Closed)

About the Opportunity

• Review supporting documents to ensure all payables are properly authorized, accurate and processed in a timely manner in accordance with Club policies and procedures
• Ensure all Accounts Payable transactions are coded correctly
• Match invoices to purchase orders and contracts, ensuring consistency with contracted terms
• Assist with payment run preparation and mailing
• Assist with contractor payments as needed
• Assist in vendor payment inquiries
• Assist with Controller inquiries, includes running various reports
• Ensure proper and organized filing for Accounts Payable and other finance related documents  
• Data Entry and other bookkeeping duties

About You

• College diploma in Accounting or Commerce
• Experience of general accounting
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Fast learner
• Professional phone manners
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Strong ability to follow-up and follow-through
• Excellent  English communication skills, both written and oral
• High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Office and experience in accounting software
• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Pay Rate

$42,000/year
